Kingwolf Designs Invitations For a Graduate

Life has hit us all pretty hard these last few years. We really found out who our real supporters are in so many ways. Those who chose to support us in our times of need, and cheer us on when we succeed. Some of us aren’t fortunate enough to have people in their corner. That’s why I’ve created this space. For people like you, creatives, to get together, share, and create. The Three C’s, Chill, Create, Collaborate.

With everything going on in life and the rest of the world, I was surprised that my friend Monica, and classmate from my alma mater, North Carolina, A&T State University, contacted me and asked me to create some invitations for her graduation from the psychology program. I’m so proud of her. I know, first-hand how hard she has been working to achieve this, and I want to be one of her biggest supporters. I knew I’d agree to help with this project even before we spoke about costs. My goal with every project is, how can we make this happen?

I was so motivated going into this, that the ideas started flowing swiftly. As Monica was describing to me in detail, what she wanted, my gears were spinning. By the end of our conversation, I had a clear idea of what I wanted to produce, and how to make it happen.

First I did some research on common invitations; what they look like, how they are formatted, etc. I laid out the text and imagery, also looking for fonts and borders. After some cleaning up and some artistic flare, I sent some sample copies to some friends for critique and one to Monica for review. With a few more edits and corrections, Monica was a satisfied customer. I love it when projects come together like this, great communication, and feedback, make a smooth collaboration. Check out the final images, and let me know what you think.

I’m looking forward to doing more, and showing you, that you can do it too. If you need or want support, show support. The same with respect and love, you’ll get it back in double from me. That’s for sure.
